 Opening Reception on Friday, December 2, 2016 - 5:00 to 8:00 pm
Show will run from December 2-29, 2016 The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator is pleased to announce award winning artist H. Ward Sterett, a native of Roscoe, Illinois, will be its featured artist for December. Sterett is an independent artist whose work features a wide range of mediums from pen and ink to stained glass to large wood sculptures. Explaining that his work is “a compulsively detailed expression of matters I feel strongly about.” He goes on to say his work “is inspired by personal experiences without regard to a narrow art philosophy so as to give the content its full expression.” Please join us for this exciting show which opens with a reception from 5 pm to 8 pm on December 2nd. The event is free and open to the public. During the reception, Sterett will be on hand to talk about his art. The show will continue through December 29th. The Beloit Fine Arts is located at 520 E. Grand Avenue, Beloit. The Gallery is open Monday from 10 am to 2 pm, Tuesday through Friday from 10 to 5:30 and Saturday from 10 to 3. |
