Opening Reception on Friday, May 5, 2017 - 5:00 to 8:00 pm Show will run from May 5 - 26, 2017 The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator is pleased to announce that the work of Dale Edwards will be presented in a Memorial Art Exhibit during May. The sculptor was a resident of Beloit where he developed his distinctive style. In later years, he lived in Los Angeles but always called Beloit his home. Edwards passed away in Arizona at the age of 76. This show will feature a wide variety of his work including metal, wood, ceramic and stone sculptures as well as abstract drawings. This show will offer the public a unique opportunity to purchase some of Edward’s work. Please join us for our First Friday Opening Reception, May 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. as we remember Edwards with this final exhibition of his work and meet those who knew and loved him. The event is free and open to the public. The show will continue through May 26th. A video and pieces of Dale Edwards work can be found here. The Beloit Fine Arts is located at 520 E. Grand Avenue, Beloit. The Gallery is open Monday from 10 am to 2 pm, Tuesday through Friday from 10 to 5:30 and Saturday from 10am to 3 pm. The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator will hold its annual juried art show in November 2017 and is seeking artists to participate. Both 2 and 3 dimensional art is sought with a theme of “Food”. The theme is open to the interpretation and creativity of the artist. All work must be original and not have been shown in the gallery during the previous 24 months. No digitalized or photographic artwork will be accepted.

Opening Reception on Friday, April 7, 2017 - 5:00 to 8:00 pm Show will run from April 7 - 27, 2017 The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator is pleased to announce it will host its annual High School Art Show. This show highlights the creativity of young and upcoming artists from Beloit Turner and Memorial High Schools as well as Rock County Christian School. The artwork includes both 2 and 3 dimensional pieces and will be on display from April 7th through April 27th. A reception for the public to meet the artists will be held April 7th from 5 to 8 pm. The reception is free and open to the public. For those unable to attend the event, the gallery is open Monday from 10 am to 2 pm; Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Located in downtown Beloit, the Beloit Fine Arts Incubator offers upcoming as well as known artists a place to display their artwork.
