CAROL SCOTT
Website - https://carolmay83.wixsite.com/mysite Facebook - Carol Scott Artwork Facebook - May The Art Be With You Phone - (815) 978-5125 Email - [email protected] My name is Carol (KLoster) Scott, I currently resident in Roscoe, IL., but grew up in Seward and went to Winnebago High School. After college and years of working I retired in 2019 from Woodward. So this is how it all started for me..... Having an abundance amount of time on my hands after being retired, I decided to do little projects around the house. One of those included taking some of our outdoor landscape figurines and just giving them a fresh coat of paint. Then I moved on to painting landscape scenes onto rocks - I was really starting to enjoy the creative process at this point. As time went on, I thought I'd try to expand my skills and paint on canvas. Not having any training or experience I just took it upon myself to learn as I go and see what develops. To my surprise I was beginning to see that I had something very special hidden all these years. I could see and feel with each piece that I completed that something was developing. I've been very fortunate to have discovered this talent even if it was after I retired. So with each piece of art that is created I try to master the tiniest of details and bring out the realism of the subject. In order to do that I must continue to grow, learn and develop new skills and to also keep myself challenged. I would like to thank you for taking the time to view my artwork, I really appreciate your interest. |

SUSAN PORUBCAN Email - [email protected] As an artist I find that color, textures and shapes are very intriguing. Nostalgia and representation of everyday items appear to dominate a large portion of my artwork. Watercolor on archival watercolor paper is the main mode of that expression. Delve up close and get personal with the details of items. It is fascinating. Open yourself up to feel the texture, taste the colors, and listen quietly to the story whispered to you in the picture. |
