DAN WUTHRICH - 1935 - 2020 | Wuthrich's work has been described as follows:
Dan's paintings are like sensitive trips down seldom traveled roads of thought, providing the vehicle for expanded experiences, both mental and visual. He is a recorder of fantasy, hope, and sorrow-sometimes critical, sometimes even whimsical; but always providing the viewer with a trip to places never seen, and people met only in the mind’s eye. Mythology, theology, literature, and everyday events are the sources Dan uses in his paintings. He has the ability to make the usual, unusual, and to find things that generally go unnoticed. Bringing them to the surface, he gives the most common place objects a personality by humanizing the inanimate and illuminating a world seldom seen.
Dan's artwork will continue to be sold at the Beloit Art Center. If you are interested in seeing more of his paintings, please call and schedule an appointment.

JEANNIE RIPPL
"Jewelry has always been a part of my life. My mother and her sisters love jewelry. Everyday Mom wore earrings and necklace while raising 5 children. The creativity of my jewelry is endless with the many shapes, sizes and color of beads." Slants of Sunshine cards are photos of flowers and fauna that I have taken. Iris folding cards are made by folding coordinating papers into strips. |
