Dillon’s mixed media works use classic advertising, movie, and comic book imagery derived from the 1950s through the 1980s, combined with patterns and colors reminiscent of the same period to create a narrative. “Much of my art… also includes primitive, folk, and tribal art and designs from across the world”.
