Jean Oseth – 2026 Beloit WRAP Juror
The Beloit Art Center is pleased to welcome Jean Oseth as the juror for the 2026 Beloit Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) Exhibition.
Jean is a Beloit artist with a background in art and design who is best known for her intricate mandala-inspired artwork. Using repeated patterns, thoughtful color choices, and careful attention to detail, she creates pieces that encourage viewers to slow down and appreciate the beauty found in balance, pattern, and creativity.
As this year's WRAP juror, Jean will evaluate all entries in the exhibition and select the State Award recipients and Honorable Mentions. Her artistic experience, design background, and thoughtful approach make her especially well suited to recognize outstanding work by emerging and nonprofessional artists.
In addition to serving as juror, Jean will present a live art demonstration on Saturday, October 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for artists participating in this year's Beloit WRAP exhibition. The demonstration offers participants an opportunity to observe her creative process, ask questions, and gain insight into her approach to design and pattern.
Last year, nearly 40 artists participated in the Beloit WRAP Exhibition. We look forward to another exciting year of the creative talents of artists from southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
What is WRAP? More about the Wisconsin Regional Art Program
Exhibit and workshop opportunities for non-professional artists.
The Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) encourages nonprofessional, student, and emerging artists to create and exhibit their work across Wisconsin. It is for people who have a serious interest in art, and create art for the love of art. WRAP originated as an outreach program of UW-Madison, but is now administered by the Association of Wisconsin Artists. Participants living in neighboring states are also encouraged to participate.
