Beloit Art Center is pleased to announce the November exhibits which will open with a
First Friday Gallery Reception on November 6 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.. A gallery talk featuring the artists will be held at 6:00 p.m.. Exhibits will be open through November 26.
Thank you to Alongi Santas Moss Insurance Agency for sponsoring the Sveum and Bell Gallery exhibits. In the Sveum Gallery, artwork by Ron Duffy will be on display. Duffy’s early years were spent on a small farm in Northern Wisconsin. In grade school Duffy experienced his first formal instruction from a weekly radio class produced by the University of Wisconsin. “I believe art to be the result of bringing an idea into the physical world. Personally, I pursue the answers of the questions what, why, and how in my quest.” Four select pieces of Duffy’s art for sale during the month of November also include a 2027 Individual Annual Membership to the Beloit Arts Center.
In the Bell Gallery, artwork by Kim Eaton will be on display. Eaton’s pastel paintings often
begin with a water color or acrylic underpainting and then layers of hard and soft pastels follow on top. Many of Eaton’s paintings are inspired by photographs taken on various trips with added artistic license and expression.
