The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator is pleased to announce that longtime artist Dan Wuthrich will be their featured artist during August. With his artwork in collections around the world, Wuthrich’s artistic journey began at age 8 when he received his first set of oil paints. Now seventy-three years later, Wuthrrich has gathered together over 50 paintings for this show: describing them as “something old, something new, nothing borrowed and some blue.” His work features nature, references to mythology and literature as well as flights of imagination. “I let my mind take me where it wants to go so each piece is a journey into the unknown.“ Besides a variety of paintings, Wuthrich also will be displaying his carvings and handmade walking sticks. The public is invited to the opening reception held Friday August 5th from 5 to 8 pm. Wuthrich will be there to meet the attendees and discuss his work. The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator is located in downtown Beloit at 520 E. Grand Avenue. The show continues through August 25th. The gallery is open Monday from 10 to 2; Tuesday through Friday from 10 to 5:30 and Saturday from 10 to 3. Comments are closed.
