Explore the art of wheel throwing in this 6-week hands-on pottery class. Students new to the wheel—or those looking to refresh their skills—will learn the fundamentals of centering clay and forming cylinders while creating cups and goblets. As skills develop, students will progress to throwing bowls. Glazing techniques will be taught to complete finished pieces.
Returning students who are comfortable centering and raising a cylinder may wish to enroll in the Intermediate Throwing class. Both classes are taught by Rebecca Rehpohl. Creativity is encouraged at all levels. Upon completing beginer class, intermediate options are available.

• Clay and glaze provided
• Students bring tools, apron, and hand towel
• Tool sets available in the BAC Gift Shop
• Classes are held in the basement
