The Beloit Art Center Plein Air group starts this spring. The purpose of the group is to get together at a scheduled location, have fun, and paint what we see. We have no restrictions as to how anyone paints, and all who are interested are welcome. We have a "Ridiculous Paint Brush Award" that will go to the artist that displays the most interesting creativity each session. See our scheduled locations below, which will be open painting sessions with painters from other Plein air groups invited to join us. We collect no fees, and provide no materials. All are welcome to enter any Plein Air session as they choose. You will have the opportunity to show your work in the Bell Gallery at the Beloit Art Center. Any questions can be directed to John Hines, email@example.com

The Beloit Art Center (formerly the Beloit Fine Arts Incubator) is seeking a new logo to visualize its new name. To accomplish this, a contest will be held in which the public can submit their ideas to the board. The contest is open to all ages and will culminate in the top three entries being on display on May 1st at our First Friday gallery night. The winner of our logo contest will be announced that evening and awarded a $100.00 cash prize.
The Beloit Art Center has provided a home for the arts in downtown Beloit since 1999. We look forward to our continued partnership with the community and regional artists as we maintain a center to teach, display and promote art through providing art studios, hosting gallery shows, events and classes.
The new logo design needs to visually capture the essence of the Beloit Art Center.
We look forward to seeing your designs!
The Beloit Art Center is seeking donations of limited edition and original artwork plus sculptures and 3D artwork in good condition to use for their semi-annual art auction fundraiser to be held this fall. This is a perfect time for anyone who is downsizing, redecorating their home or office or settling an estate. We also are seeking picture frames that can be reused to frame art work created by local high school students who show their work in our gallery each April when we host the high school art show.
We are 501C-3 non-profit organization so all donations are tax deductible. The proceeds from the sale of your donated items will help fund the Beloit Art Center and its programs. Donations will be accepted during normal gallery hours Monday from 10 to 2, Tuesday through Friday from 10 to 5 and Saturday from 10 to 3, or by appointment.
The Beloit Art Center is located at 520 E. Grand Avenue in downtown Beloit. 608-313-9083
