Since 1999, the Beloit Fine Arts Incubator has provided a home for emerging artists to create and show their work and for the community to enjoy a vibrant visual art experience. Now we are ready to take our past successes and apply them as momentum for the future. As such, we are announcing the launch of a new name: Beloit Art Center.
Although our name is changing, we will continue to maintain a center to teach, display and promote art through events, classes, gallery and studio space in partnership with the community and regional artists. To date, we have expanded our gallery space to include the Bell Gallery. This smaller gallery is ideal for the artist who may not have enough work to fill our larger main gallery. Our main gallery is booked with exciting shows through 2018. Additional studios have been added and we have achieved an almost 100% occupancy rate.
Located at 520 E. Grand Avenue in downtown Beloit, we look forward to the continued support of the community as we work towards purchasing our current location, doing some necessary remodeling and expanding our offerings to the public. We hope you will join us the First Friday of each month as we introduce the community to the works of a new artist.
